Thin Sliced Roast with Tabouli and Green Beans

My family really LOVES roast this way. I thaw the roast until it is still a little bit frozen. Then I cut thin slices from the meat. You could use a meat slicer for this if you have one. I heat olive oil and butter in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Season … Continue reading

My neighbors have a pontoon boat and frequently go fishing. They are so nice and always give us some fish from their catch. Thanks Dave and Susie! Yum. I served the fish with Tabouli and fresh tomatoes. For the fish I just seasoned it with sea salt and lemon pepper. I then added some sliced … Continue reading

Glorious Strawberries!

These strawberries came from my garden this year! I love home grown fruits and vegetables. There is nothing like watching the plant grow, then eating the fruit right off the vine. I added some sliced banana and raw cream. It doesn’t get any better than that!

This is another one of those quick fix, spring meals. Everyone can put what they want on their own. And to add in a little more good protein I added some black beans with the cheese. The lighter color tortillas are made with spelt. Really good. The darker tortillas are multi-grain. Very good also. Strange … Continue reading

What I Had for Dinner/ Salsa, Tabouli, and Beans

http://www.tiffanystable.com/ I am still not eating meat for dinner. I think I like it! I feel like I am waking up more rested! This is my first attempt at Tabouli, a middle eastern dish. It is VERY simple to make, but I realized I made a mistake. I should have chopped the parsley more … Continue reading

Asian Salad Dressing

This is one of the things we had for dinner. It turned out really good and has very simple ingredients. We had Ham Fried Rice with it, only it didn’t have ham or rice. Just kidding, it did have rice, but no ham. I had a little bit of natural bacon that I put in … Continue reading
