Beef Stir Fry with Bean Thread Noodles

I made this quite awhile ago, but can’t remember if I ever posted it. So if I have, sorry for the repeat, if I haven’t you might want to try this one. My family really liked it.

I very rarely make the same meal over again, it seems I always change something or mix it up etc. Sometimes I think this is a bad thing.

This is the meat marinating, and a picture of the bean threads to show you what they are if you’re not sure.

Yummy vegetables, cabbage, onions, carrots, celery and garlic. Of course you could add more of your favorite vegetables, or take away some that you don’t care for.

The finished product. I had to add my favorite red pepper flakes as well.

Beef Stir Fry with Bean Thread Noodles

Marinate for 30 minutes:

1-2 lb. beef tenderloin

4 tbsp tamari

1 large clove garlic minced

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tsp sesame oil

Heat a large pan or wok with 1 tbsp coconut oil. Cook meat in batches, then set the meat aside.

Sautee the vegetables in the meat drippings, starting with the carrots. Add a couple tablespoons of water with carrots and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the onions, celery, cabbage, green beans and the remaining water then cook until tender. Add the meat, the noodles and the sauce. Heat through and serve.

3 carrots, sliced

½ onion, sliced

½ cabbage, shredded

2 stalks celery, sliced

1½ cups frozen green beans

1 clove garlic, minced

1 package of bean thread (prepare according to directions)

4 tbsp tamari

1 tsp cornstarch

5 tbsp water
