Sprouted Wheat Naturally Sweetened Peanut Butter Chip Cookies–that’s a mouthful either way you look at it! And GOOD too!
This is just the cookie dough. Pretty obvious! They are sweetened with a little raw honey and dates. That’s what gives these cookies such a good flavor.

Sprouted Wheat Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
1 cup dates
½ cup water
1½ sticks butter
½ cup raw honey
2 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp sea salt
3 cups fresh-ground sprouted wheat flour
1½ cups naturally sweetened peanut butter chips
Puree the dates with the water in a blender or food processor. In a mixing bowl cream the butter and date mixture. Add the honey and mix well. Mix in the eggs until well blended. Add 1 cup flour, the baking soda and the salt. Mix until combined. Add in the remaining flour and the peanut butter chips just until blended.
Bake in a pre-heated 375°F oven for 10 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen cookies
