Waffles with Strawberries…and boiled eggs for dinner

These pictures didn’t want to load in the right order today, sorry!

Slice the strawberries and soak them in raw honey and or agave for about 30 minutes. This brings out the juices and the flavor.

I don’t know about you but the strawberries we usually get in the store have hardly any strawberry flavor at all. I can’t wait for my strawberries in my garden to grow, now those are REAL strawberries.

In the picture below I also poured a little raw cream over the top of the strawberries.

Soft Wheat Flour Waffles

4 eggs

¼ cup raw honey

1/3 cup grape seed oil

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups raw milk

2¼ cups fresh-ground soft wheat flour

3 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder

½ tsp sea salt

Blend the wet ingredients together until well combined. Stir in the dry ingredients until smooth. Allow the batter to rest for 5 minutes. Bake in a waffle iron according to manufacturers directions. Top with maple syrup or Apple Syrup (page   ).
